Philippines Ambassador to Kuwait
On the occasion of the 127th Anniversary of Philippine Independence, the Philippine Embassy in Kuwait conveys its warmest greetings and congratulations to all Filipinos in the State of Kuwait and all over the world. Today, we honor the sacrifices of the generations before us and continue the project of nation-building even as we try to provide better lives for ourselves and our families. We reaffirm the aspirations of the Filipino nation for global peace, stability, and sustainable development.
We also reassert our commitment to the amicable and lasting resolution of disputes and a rules-based international order. These principles guide our diplomacy and underpin our partnerships. The Philippines stands united in solidarity with friends and partners who have a shared interest and determination in sincere and meaningful dialogue and understanding to achieve mutual respect and friendly cooperation among nations. We extend our heartfelt gratitude and admiration to the Filipino nationals in Kuwait for their steadfast dedication, hard work, and contribution to both our homeland and the host country.
We also celebrate the enduring and mutually respectful relationship between the Republic of the Philippines and the State of Kuwait. The strong and friendly ties between our two nations have been further enriched through engagements at the highest levels between the leaders of both countries, thereby opening the way for deeper and broader collaboration and exchange for the benefit of our peoples and countries.
We convey our great appreciation for the kindness and hospitality of the State of Kuwait, guided by the leadership and wisdom of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al- Khalid Al-Sabah through the government under His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al- Ahmad. May this Independence Day inspire all Filipinos to embrace and build a more responsible, caring, and compassionate society and nation. Mabuhay ang Bagong Pilipinas!
