KUWAIT CITY, April 9: An Egyptian driver in his 40s and a young man of unknown nationality died due to electrocution shortly before breaking fast in Salmi scrapyard recently, reports Al-Anba daily. Initial investigations revealed the accident was due to an electrical short circuit resulting from contact between an electric wire and a crane carrying a vehicle. While the vehicle was being lifted to put on top of the wench, the electric short circuit occurred and claimed the lives of the driver and the owner of the vehicle. Electricity was disconnected from the vehicle before the two bodies were taken and referred to forensics.
