Electricity Restored to All Areas Affected by Outage in Hawally and Mubarak Al-Kabeer

KUWAIT CITY, Sep 6: The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy announced Sunday that electricity has been fully restored to all areas affected by a power outage in the governorates of Hawalli and Mubarak Al-Kabeer.

The ministry said power was first restored to the main substation serving the Sixth Ring Road (W), after which electricity was gradually restored to all substations connected to it.

Earlier, the ministry reported that several main transformer stations had gone out of service due to a technical malfunction, resulting in power outages affecting a number of areas in the two governorates.

Emergency teams were deployed to the affected sites and worked to repair the fault and restore electricity as quickly as possible.

The ministry thanked citizens and residents for their understanding and cooperation during the outage.
