KUWAIT CITY, Jun 25: Authorities have launched routine investigations after the body of an elderly Kuwaiti man was discovered inside the courtyard of his home in the Sabah Al Salem area.
According to security sources, the Ministry of Interior's operations room received a report regarding the discovery of the body of a Kuwaiti citizen born in 1956 (70 years old). Police patrols, ambulance personnel and a criminal evidence team immediately rushed to the scene, accompanied by the head of the Sabah Al Salem Police Station.
Initial inquiries revealed that the deceased lived alone in the residence. The family's domestic worker told investigators that she had repeatedly knocked on the door but received no response. She later noticed the man lying motionless in the courtyard after looking through a gap beneath the door, prompting her to alert authorities.
Criminal evidence specialists inspected the scene and, according to preliminary findings, found no signs of foul play. Initial assessments indicate that the death was due to natural causes.
The body was transferred to the Forensic Medicine Department to complete standard examinations and legal procedures, while authorities continue routine investigations to confirm the exact cause of death.
