KUWAIT CITY, July 1: The Ministry of Commerce's Consumer Protection Department, in coordination with the Ministry of Interior's Ahmadi Governorate Investigations Department, carried out an intensive inspection campaign targeting a number of commercial establishments across Ahmadi Governorate.

The campaign resulted in the issuance of 46 seizure reports for various violations, in addition to two violation notices related to commercial licensing requirements.

Authorities said all necessary legal measures were taken against the violators in coordination between the two ministries.

As part of the enforcement action, eight commercial establishments were ordered closed immediately after inspectors found violations that warranted closure under the country's applicable laws and regulations.

Officials said the campaign forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen market oversight, ensure compliance with commercial regulations and protect consumers.
