Eight Drones Downed as Kuwait Strengthens Protection of Vital Sites
Kuwait National Guard releases servicemen serving disciplinary sentences for Eid Al-Adha.

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 11:The Kuwait National Guard announced early Wednesday that its forces shot down eight drones within areas under its responsibility as part of ongoing efforts to safeguard vital sites and counter potential threats.

National Guard spokesman Brigadier General Dr. Jad’an Fadel Jad’an said in a press statement that the interceptions took place at dawn and were carried out as part of heightened security measures. He urged the public to follow safety instructions issued by authorities.

Jad’an stressed that the National Guard, working closely with the army, police and the General Fire Force, remains fully prepared to confront any threats and ensure the country’s sovereignty, security and stability while protecting national interests and capabilities.
