Eid Al-Rashidi poses with an official after the extension.

KUWAIT CITY, March 2: The Al-Qadisiya Club's Board of Directors has officially extended the contract of first-team football player Eid Al-Rashidi for the upcoming five seasons, set to expire in 2029. The announcement of the contract renewal was made through the club's official website, accompanied by a photograph featuring Eid alongside Sheikh Fahad Talal, the head of the football team at Al-Qadisiya.

Al-Qadisiya successfully fended off attempts by other clubs to secure the services of the international striker. "Al-Asfar" conclusively settled Al-Rashidi's file, putting an end to speculations and discussions that had sparked widespread controversy on social media. In recent times, reports were circulating about negotiations with multiple fan clubs expressing their desire to compete for his contract. At 24 years old, Eid holds a significant role as one of the key players for Al-Qadisiyah. He is recognized as one of the top talents in Kuwaiti football, particularly in the attacking position.
