Egyptian Youth Assaulted, Robbed of iPhone 15 in Salwa

KUWAIT CITY, Sep 8: Criminal Investigation Department officers are investigating a robbery incident reported in the Hawally governorate, involving an Egyptian youth who was allegedly assaulted and robbed of his mobile phone.

According to a security source, an Egyptian youth, around 18 years old, reported that a group of people assaulted him in an open parking area in the Salwa area in what he described as an attempted kidnapping. He said the attackers forcibly took his iPhone 15 from his hand and that some members of the group were carrying sharp objects, including knives. The victim identified two of the alleged attackers and said several others were also involved.

Public prosecutors ordered the registration of the mugging case and directed the Criminal Investigation Department to conduct further investigations to identify and apprehend those responsible and determine the full circumstances of the incidents.
