Egyptian worker dies in fall, one critical – Theft in Sabhan restaurant

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 25: An Egyptian expatriate died when he fell from the top of a building under construction in Salmiya area. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information that an Egyptian laborer fell from a building under construction, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location and examined the victim to discover he was dead. They referred the corpse to the Forensics Department and a case was registered. Meanwhile, an Egyptian expatriate sustained serious injuries when he fell from a building under construction in Funaitees area. Paramedics rushed him to Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital where he was admitted in the Intensive Care Unit.

Theft at eatery: A lawyer filed a theft case against an unknown individual who stole KD 1,500 from a popular restaurant in Sabhan area. According to security sources, when the owner of the restaurant received information about the theft from the workers at the restaurant, he immediately notified securitymen who rushed to the location. Officers from Criminal Evidence Department were summoned to lift fingerprints and a case was registered for investigations.
