Egyptian Expat Finds Stolen Car by Chance After a Month in Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 22: An Egyptian expatriate recovered his stolen vehicle by coincidence about a month after it disappeared from outside his residence in Fintas, when he spotted it parked in Mangaf while visiting a friend.

According to a security source, the expatriate, born in 1982, had earlier filed a report with the authorities after his vehicle went missing from a dirt parking lot in front of his residence.

About a month later, he was surprised to find the missing vehicle parked in Mangaf during a visit to a friend. He immediately alerted the Ministry of Interior's operations room.

A security patrol was dispatched to the location and verified the vehicle owner's identity and ownership before taking the car to the police station.

The vehicle will be referred to the Forensics Department for fingerprint examination in an effort to identify the suspect and determine the circumstances surrounding the theft and how the vehicle ended up in Mangaf.

The investigation is ongoing to uncover the details of the incident and identify those responsible.
