KUWAIT CITY, Sep 5: Kuwait authorities have arrested an Egyptian expatriate, born in 1992, in Al Farwaniya for allegedly engaging in forgery and illegally facilitating official transactions.

The Shamiya Investigations Division reportedly tracked the suspect after detecting a social media advertisement in which he claimed he could arrange various ministerial, financial and banking transactions. Following surveillance and monitoring, investigators caught him red-handed while allegedly forging a salary certificate for a confidential source in exchange for money.

Investigations with the suspect are continuing to determine the full extent of the alleged forgery activities and to complete the necessary legal procedures.
