KUWAIT CITY, Feb 21: Mohammad Mubarak Al-Mubaraki, owner of Mubarak Stud, reaffirmed his commitment to supporting Egyptian-bred Arabian horse races held weekly at the Hunting and Equestrian Club, highlighting his dedication to promoting this distinguished equestrian tradition.
Speaking ahead of sponsoring the club’s 17th race scheduled for next Monday, which features a round for Egyptian-bred horses, Al-Mubaraki described the initiative as a trailblazing step in the region. He noted that the idea was first introduced by Alaa Hamad Al-Roumi, owner of Al-Rayah Stud, and received immediate approval and backing from Mubarak Stud, making them among the earliest supporters.
He emphasized that races dedicated to Egyptian bloodlines represent a new and valuable concept locally, benefiting breeders, producers, and owners alike. “We stand behind any initiative that serves this noble animal and advances the sport,” he said.
Al-Mubaraki added that while Mubarak Stud had previously supported Arabian horse beauty championships, it is now extending its backing to speed races and plans to continue supporting such competitions in the seasons ahead.
