KUWAIT CITY, Oct 18: The Egyptian Official Gazette (Al-Waqa’i) has published a decision by the Egyptian Minister of Interior, Major-General Mahmoud Tawfiq, stipulating the deportation of a Kuwaiti from Egypt citing “reasons related to the public interest,” reports Al-Rai daily.
The decision, No. 1896 of 2023, is based on Law No. 89 of 1960 regarding the entry, residence and exit of foreigners in Egypt and its amendments, and the memorandum of the General Administration of Passports, Immigration and Nationality regarding the request to deport the Kuwaiti citizen.
