Education Minister meets UK envoy to boost academic ties

KUWAIT CITY, April 22: Minister of Education Eng. Sayed Jalal Al-Tabtabaei had a meeting with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the State of Kuwait Qudsi Rasheed at the headquarters of the ministry on Wednesday. Also present at the meeting were Deputy Ambassador Stuart Summers, Second Secretary at the British Embassy Najina Akhtar and Director of the British Council, Tony Skinner. During the meeting, the two parties affirmed the depth and strength of the bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the United Kingdom, praising their continuous development and fruitful cooperation in various fields, particularly in the education sector, which is a pillar in supporting development paths and building human capacity.
