KUWAIT CITY, June 30: Fire broke out in the paper warehouse belonging to the sister newspaper “Al-Qabas daily” on Al-Sahafa Street in Shuwaikh Industrial on Monday afternoon. No casualties were reported. The Editor-in-Chief of Arab Times and Al- Seyassah newspapers Ahmed Al-Jarallah contacted the Editor-in-Chief of Al-Qabas newspaper Walid Al-Nisf to check on the situation and offer support. He expressed full readiness of Al-Seyassah and Arab Times newspapers to provide any assistance. In response, Al-Nisf expressed his gratitude to Al-Jarallah, confirming that the damage was confined to the paper warehouse and that the newspaper’s operations are continuing as usual. Meanwhile, a press release issued by Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) revealed that four firefighting teams rushed to the location after receiving information about the warehouse on fire, and extinguished it before it spread further, despite the high temperatures. Personnel from the Ministry of Interior and Emergency Medical Services were also present at the scene.
