KUWAIT CITY, Oct 21: Dean of Kuwaiti journalism and Editor-in-Chief of Al-Seyassah, Arab Times and Al-Hadaf newspapers Ahmed Al-Jarallah successfully underwent eye surgery in Paris on Monday. He is scheduled for a second operation early next month, during which he will receive comprehensive medical care. Throughout Monday, Al-Jarallah received a number of calls from prominent figures, including sheikhs, politicians and businesspersons in Kuwait, Gulf, Arab and other foreign countries, in addition to his numerous fans, friends and followers, wishing him well.

Al-Jarallah expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Kuwaiti Ambassador to France Abdullah Al-Shaheen and to Head of the Health Office in Paris Dr. Ali Al-Moussawi for their concern and continuous follow up in serving Kuwaiti patients and their companions. He praised the tremendous efforts exerted by the embassy and the Health Office to facilitate treatment procedures and provide the best services to citizens abroad. He also appreciated the care and attention provided by the French medical staff, extending his sincere appreciation and gratitude for their humanitarian and professional efforts. Meanwhile, the staff of Al-Seyassah, Arab Times and Al-Hadaf newspapers expressed their sincere wishes for Al-Jarallah’s continued health and well-being, lovingly telling him, “May you never see any harm.
