Easy Appointments and Extended Hours for Biometric Fingerprinting Services

KUWAIT CITY, July 15: The Ministry of Interior is actively conducting biometric fingerprinting for Kuwaiti citizens, expats, and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nationals at designated centers. These efforts aim to enhance services provided to the public, streamline processes, and improve overall efficiency and effectiveness. The Ministry is committed to saving time and effort for individuals while elevating performance and achievements in this area.

To support this strategy, the General Administration of Security Relations and Media announced that the Ministry of Interior is continuously carrying out biometric fingerprinting for citizens and GCC nationals at dedicated centers. The service is available from 8 am to 8 pm, allowing individuals to conveniently schedule appointments for biometric fingerprinting. Citizens and residents can make appointments using the user-friendly “When” application platform, while GCC nationals can book appointments through the Ministry of Interior’s website (http://moi.gov.kw).

It is worth noting that travelers departing from Kuwait are not required to undergo fingerprinting before leaving the country. However, biometric fingerprinting will be conducted upon their return to Kuwait.

For Kuwaiti citizens and citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries:

Hawally Governorate: Hawally Security Directorate.

Farwaniya Governor: Farwaniya Security Directorate.

Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate: Mubarak Al-Kabeer Security Directorate.

Jahra Governorate: Jahra Security Directorate.

For Expats

Furthermore, the Ministry is actively working on expanding its services by establishing new centers in various commercial complexes and the Ministries Complex. This expansion aims to facilitate access to biometric fingerprinting for a wider range of individuals, ensuring convenience and accessibility for all.

Steps to enroll for an appointment

  2. Login into your account or register
  3. Click on Appointments Search from Menu
  4. Click on Ministry of Interior Service Categories button
  5. Choose General Department Of Personnel Identification
  6. Choose the last option Biometric Enrollment click on the button Apply
