KUWAIT CITY, April 8: The Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has advised Kuwaitis, who need to obtain an electronic tourist visa to the Kingdom, to apply for a visa through the website visa. http://www.visitsaudi.com, reports Al-Anba daily. In its advisory, the embassy stressed that it has not accredited any office to process electronic tourist visa applications.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has revealed that the value of spending on subsidized food and construction materials reached KD40 million in February, reports Al-Jarida daily. The ministry said the total amount spent on subsidized foodstuff reached KD14 million and KD1.8 million for baby milk and all kinds of supplements, while the construction materials amounted to KD24 million. Also, the number of ration cards totaled 255,788.

The Insurance Regulatory Unit has decided to increase the price of the mandatory traffic accident insurance policy for private vehicles and their equivalent (individual) from KD19 to KD32, reports Al-Jarida daily. Also, the annual insurance premium for private vehicles and their equivalent (non-individual) increased to KD53. The decision will take effect on April 16.
