KUWAIT CITY, May 23: A massive dust-storm swept through Kuwait on Monday, suspending flights to and from the country’s international airport, the civil aviation regulator said. Commercial flights were rescheduled because of the weather patterns, while air traffic was to be resume normally once the dust-storm subside, said Emad Al-Juluwi, Kuwait Civil Aviation’s Deputy Director General for Air Navigation Services Affairs. A massive plume of dust hovered over Kuwait on Monday, reducing visibility to almost zero across the country. The Ministry of Interior cautioned on Monday all citizens and expatriates of the unstable weather conditions caused by the dust-storm. (KUNA)
