Dubai princess shows off stunning French Montana engagement ring
French Montana and Dubai Princess Sheikha Mahra announce engagement.

DUBAI, Aug 30: French Montana has given Dubai princess Sheikha Mahra Mohammed Rashed Al Maktoum a memorable engagement gift, showcasing a stunning ring on Instagram Friday.

The engagement ring features a large emerald-cut diamond surrounded by smaller diamonds set into the band. Sheikha Mahra and French Montana shared a photo of the ring on Instagram on August 29, captioning it with a white heart and sparkle emoji.

The couple’s engagement was confirmed by French Montana’s representative to TMZ on August 27. According to the outlet, the “Unforgettable” rapper proposed during Paris Fashion Week in June, shortly after he walked the runway for the 3.Paradis Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2026 show.

Sheikha Mahra, 31, and French Montana, 41, were first linked in October 2024, when the princess shared photos of him touring Dubai. Their relationship became public during Paris Fashion Week, when they were seen holding hands in the City of Lights.

French Montana has previously been romantically linked to Khloe Kardashian, Iggy Azalea, and Rubi Rose. Sheikha Mahra, the daughter of Dubai ruler Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, was previously married to Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum, with whom she shares a 15-month-old daughter. She announced their divorce on social media in July 2024, citing infidelity.

“Dear Husband,” she wrote at the time. “As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce you, I divorce you, I Divorce You.” She added, “Take care. Your ex-wife.”

The BBC noted that the three-time repetition of “I divorce you” likely referenced the Islamic practice of triple talaq, which traditionally allows a husband to divorce his wife by saying the words three times, though it is banned in many countries. While the practice is typically invoked by men, Sheikha Mahra indicated her split was finalized shortly after the declaration.

One month later, she shared a photo with her daughter, captioned, “Just the two of us.”
