Dubai, Dec 3: Dubai Police announced that reckless behavior by some youths during the 54th UAE National Day celebrations resulted in significant traffic violations and the impounding of dozens of vehicles. Authorities confirmed that 49 vehicles and 25 motorcycles were seized after participants engaged in dangerous stunts and unlawful road activities. A total of 3,153 traffic violations were recorded during the festivities.
Police officials urged parents to take an active role in educating their children about responsible behavior during national celebrations, emphasizing the importance of preserving public safety. They stressed that national occasions should be celebrated with pride and respect—without endangering others on the road. Authorities reiterated their commitment to enforcing traffic laws to ensure community safety and prevent accidents during major events.
