KUWAIT CITY, Sep 28: The Public Prosecutor has slapped two charges against a Turkish man for driving under the influence of alcohol and offering bribe to a police officer not to register a complaint against him, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to the security sources, the man was ordered to pull over for reversing the car on a main road. While issuing a citation the police officer discovered the man was under the influence of alcohol and at this point the Turk offered the officer 400 dinars for his release.

The officer turned down the bribe and took him to the Abu Halifa Police Station and the man then pulled out another sum of money, equivalent of 1,000 dollars.
