Drug peddler arrested along with 7 kgs of narcotics

KUWAIT CITY, Jun 26: The Kuwait Narcotics Control department arrested a person in possession of 7 kilograms of narcotics and digital weighing scale.

An information was received by operations room stating that a person is promoting drugs and taking drugs. After conducting further investigations and verifying the authenticity of information, a legal permission was sorted from the prosecution, where an attempt was made to catch the perpetrator red handed and he was found in possession of about 7 kilograms of the drugs a scale and tools for intaking the drugs.He admitted that seized items belonged to him.The accused along with the contraband substances were referred to the competent authority for legal action.
