Kuwait’s Civil Aviation closely monitors the weather as a fog forecast looms.
KUWAIT CITY, Mar 14: On Saturday, Kuwait International Airport was targeted by multiple drones, resulting in damage to the airport’s radar system, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (Kuwait) announced. No injuries were reported.
The Directorate confirmed that the incident was managed under the airport’s emergency plan, which has been in place since the start of the ongoing crisis, in full coordination with relevant national authorities.
It reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the security and safety of civil aviation in Kuwait.
