Drones seen once again in Kuwait skies

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 5: A few days after the General Administration of Customs announced the ban on the import of drones except with the permission of the Ministry of Interior and the approval of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry there have been reports of unmanned aerial aircrafts so-called drones seen in the skies of Kuwait, reports Al-Anba daily.

Although those who fly these drones are believed to be amateurs, security sources said they still need permission from the Ministry of Interior.

According to reports the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior received a report that five unmanned aircraft were hovering over Kuwait Towers and a similar device believed to be fitted with a camera was seen over Sabah Al- Nasser.

The source added without going into details said the incidents were reported to the concerned authority for necessary follow-up, monitoring and action
