KUWAIT CITY, Mar 25: A fuel tank at Kuwait International Airport was targeted by drones on Wednesday, triggering a fire that was swiftly contained by emergency teams, authorities said.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation confirmed the incident, noting that the attack led to a blaze at the site but resulted in no casualties.

Official spokesperson Abdullah Al-Rajhi said preliminary reports indicate that the damage was limited to material losses.

He added that emergency response protocols were immediately activated, with firefighting units and relevant authorities rushing to the scene to bring the fire under control. All concerned agencies remain present at the site as investigations continue into the incident.
