KUWAIT CITY, Apr 3: Kuwait Petroleum Corporation announced that the Mina Al-Ahmadi Refinery, operated by Kuwait National Petroleum Company, was targeted by a drone attack at dawn on Friday, causing fires in several operational units.

In a statement to Kuwait News Agency, the corporation said emergency and firefighting teams swiftly activated response plans, working efficiently to contain the fires and prevent them from spreading to other parts of the facility.

The corporation confirmed that no injuries were reported, adding that all necessary safety precautions were implemented. It also noted ongoing coordination with the Environment Public Authority to monitor air quality, with no negative environmental impact detected so far.
