Driving test booking appointment launched

KUWAIT CITY, Jun 27: The General Traffic Department launched a system for booking appointments for all kinds of driving tests (private – general – heavyduty – motorbike) starting from Sunday on the website of the Ministry of Interior (www.moi.gov.kw).

The Ministry of Interior said that the visitors must have a valid form issued by the General Traffic Department, and if the form has expired, it must be renewed from www.moi.gov.kw

The administration added that no person will be allowed to enter the building without a prior appointment, the working hours for driving test sections start from Tuesday from 8 am until 12pm, and in the evening from 1pm until 5pm .

Below are the requirements for booking an appointment

Booking must be after 1 day from the date of issuance and up to 3 months from today and before the expiry of the Learner’s License.
You can not make a Booking for Driving License test if your age is under :

• 18 years for motorcycle license.
• 18 years for private license.
• 21 years for Public/Construction License.
  you should be early at the test Department, knowing that the morning shift starts from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and the evening shift starts from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

After attending the theoretical test and in case of success, the applicant will enter the practical driving test on the same day.
In case of an emergency holiday forced on the date booked , you should check with the associated Department on the first available date or change your test booking date.
