KUWAIT CITY, Dec 27: The Ministry of Interior has officially announced the dates for the renewal of driver licenses and the vehicle transfer service through Sahel application. Commencing on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, the driver's license renewal service will kick off, followed by the initiation of the vehicle transfer service on Thursday, February 1, 2024.

The Security Media Department has highlighted that these initiatives are a direct response to the directives from the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled. The goal is to enhance the services offered to citizens and align with the Ministry of Interior's ongoing efforts in advancing the digital transformation process and the digitization of public services. Additionally, these services are part of the Ministry's broader commitment to streamline and facilitate the vehicle-renewal and transfer processes for citizens through the government's "Sahel" application.
