Driver Flees Police in Mutlaa, Woman Claims She Was Kidnapped

KUWAIT CITY, Sep 9: A Kuwaiti man born in 1997 was arrested after allegedly fleeing from Najd police patrols and driving recklessly during a security inspection in Al-Mutlaa city, Jahra Governorate.

According to security authorities, a patrol spotted the vehicle and attempted to stop it, but the driver fled and drove recklessly. Officers pursued the vehicle and managed to bring it to a stop. The driver then abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot but was apprehended shortly afterward.

During the incident, a Kuwaiti woman who was traveling in the vehicle got out and told security personnel that she had allegedly been kidnapped by the driver. Both the man and the woman were detained and referred to the relevant authorities for further investigation and to complete the necessary legal procedures.
