KUWAIT CITY, Nov 26: Jahra police patrol officers have seized a vehicle containing a large quantity of narcotics after its driver fled on foot upon noticing the patrol in one of the areas of Jahra Governorate. According to security sources, the patrol team became suspicious when they spotted a car parked irregularly during a routine inspection tour. As officers approached, the driver suddenly escaped, leaving the vehicle behind. The area was immediately secured, and a search of the car was conducted as a safety precaution. The inspection revealed 44 Lyrica pills, 31 packets of Synthetic cannabinoids (commonly known as “K2/Marijuana/Spice”), 7 packets of methamphetamine (“crystal meth”), 2 packets of Lyrica powder, and various drug paraphernalia. The Criminal Investigation Department has been assigned to identify and arrest the suspect.
