KUWAIT CITY, May 20: A 1990-Bedoun man, driven by the urge to avenge the murder of his brother 15 years ago, killed the murderer by shooting him with a Kalashnikov rifle in Sulaibiya area. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about a shooting near Sulaibiya Cooperative Society, securitymen headed by Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs at Ministry of Interior Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah rushed to the location with paramedics. They found the victim lying motionless in a pool of blood. Upon examination, it was discovered that the victim, a1985-born Bedoun man, was dead.The corpse was referred to the Forensics Department. Securitymen later discovered that the suspect, a 1990-born Bedoun man, had surrendered himself at Firdous Police Station with a Kalashnikov rifle which he used to murder the victim. During interrogations, it was discovered that the deceased had killed the suspect’s brother 15 years ago in Sulaibiya Block 3, and was sentenced to seven-year imprisonment. After the deceased was released from prison, the suspect followed him for several days and tried to murder him but did not find a chance to do so.On the third day of Ramadan, the deceased parked his vehicle in the parking area of Sulaibiya Cooperative Society and went to a nearby tailor shop. The suspect followed him and then shot him inside the shop, shouting that this was in revenge for the death of his brother.
