Drive-in Covid vaccination center for today’s launch

KUWAIT CITY, May 29: Kuwait Center for Rapid Vaccination will offer drive-in COVID-19 vaccination service on the South Island of Jaber Bridge from Sunday, reports Al-Rai daily quoting informed sources. They explained that the center is one of the largest vaccination centers and the first drive-in vaccination center in the country. It covers an area of approximately 30,000 square meters, and has the capacity to receive 4,000 to 5,000 people per day.

It has 20 booths, each of which can accommodate eight cars, thus facilitating the vaccination of 80 people within a period not exceeding three to four minutes. The sources indicated that it is scheduled to complete all the organizational arrangements and conduct a trial simulation of the actual operation of the center, which comes within the framework of the Ministry of Health’s continuous efforts to accelerate the pace of vaccination in the country. They affirmed that the center has been provided with all capabilities and equipment to ensure the smooth movement of entry and exit of the vehicles of those who have vaccination appointments.
