Dramatic moment family hit by south Thailand flooding rescued from rooftop

BANGKOK, Nov 27, (AP): According to local broadcaster Thai PBS, the family of five had smashed through the roof of their house to avoid the rising waters, until they were noticed and rescued by nearby emergency workers. Record amounts of torrential rain have caused severe flash floods in southern Thailand.
