TORONTO, Oct 8, (Agencies): Drake, the 36-year-old rapper, has extended his support to a fan in dire need. During his Toronto concert on Friday, he learned that a fan had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) and took it upon himself to assist with her medical expenses.

In a video captured by an attendee at the Scotiabank Arena, Drake paused his performance to address the fan's sign, which read, "I just found out I have MS, will you help make my night?" Clearly moved, the artist, who had just released his new album "For All the Dogs," spoke to the crowd about the significance of the moment.

"This one's important to me," Drake announced. He then shared a personal connection, revealing that his close collaborator, record producer 40 (Noah James Shebib), had been diagnosed with MS at the young age of 22 back in 2005. Drake continued, "You know, my brother 40 is one of the strongest people on earth, and he fights through a lot of things. So what I'm going to do is, I'm going to connect you with 40 first of all, maybe you can have a conversation."

With the audience cheering in support, Drake made a heartfelt promise, saying, "And second of all, I'm going to pay whatever it takes to get you the best help in the world, I promise you that." He ensured that his word was sincere, adding, "You got my word — and you can come back tomorrow night!"

As the arena's screen displayed the emotional reaction of the fan, who had held up the sign, she went from tearful gratitude to shock upon realizing that she was invited to attend the show once again.

Multiple sclerosis is a condition that affects the brain and spinal cord, leading to issues such as balance problems, limb movement difficulties, sensory disturbances, and vision impairments.

Drake's compassionate gesture came at a time when he has also begun prioritizing his own health, underscoring the importance of both supporting others and taking care of oneself.
