KUWAIT CITY, Sept 9: The Kuwait Football Association has issued a warning on its social media platforms against purchasing tickets for the upcoming Kuwait vs Iraq match from unofficial sources, reports Al-Seyassah daily. The match is scheduled for tomorrow as part of the second round of Group Two in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers which also includes the United States, Canada, and Mexico. In its statement, the KFA said, “We have received reports that unauthorized individuals are selling tickets for the Kuwait vs Iraq football match illegally. These individuals are taking advantage of the high demand from loyal Kuwaiti fans eager to support their national team.
The KFA emphasizes that there is only one official platform for purchasing tickets for this event.” The statement further warned fans against dealing with these unauthorized sellers and websites, explaining that those who purchase tickets from unofficial sources may be denied entry to the stadium. It added that buyers risk losing their money and falling victim to fraud or deception. The KFA concluded by stating that it holds no financial, administrative, or legal responsibility for those who engage with illegal ticket sellers. Fans are urged to exercise caution and follow the official procedures outlined by the Federation.
