KUWAIT CITY, Jan 26: Police have arrested the ex-husband of a Kuwaiti woman for holding her domestic helper hostage when she went to collect some stuff of her sponsor, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily added, the Kuwaiti woman sent her maid to fetch some of her belongings from her exhusband’s house and the latter refused to let the maid go. The Kuwaiti woman complained to the Qadsiya Police Station and securitymen went to the house, rescued the maid and took the man to a police station.
