Doja Cat issues apology to New Jersey fans for unsettled energy at recent concert

LOS ANGELES, Dec 2, (Agencies): Doja Cat is taking responsibility for falling short during a recent concert. The 28-year-old artist, known by her real name Amala Raina Zandile Dlamini, turned to her Instagram Stories, posting an image of what seems to be a broken chip with a caption that reads, “I’m so sorry New Jersey. I don’t know what that was; I’m really not happy with my energy tonight.”

The performance took place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Despite the setback in New Jersey, the “Paint the Town Red” singer is currently engaged in The Scarlet Tour, with the next scheduled performance in Boston, Massachusetts.

While the New Jersey show may not have met Doja Cat’s expectations, she did express appreciation for her audience in Brooklyn, New York, during an earlier performance in the week.
