Doha water project referred to SAB for review

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 11: The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy forwarded the Doha Water Complex tender to the State Audit Bureau (SAB) for study and review before finalizing the contract. It is worth noting that the ministry recently received majority approval from the Board of Directors of the Central Agency for Public Tenders (CAPT) to award the KD97.188 million tender to the lowest bidder that met all the technical specifications and requirements. This is one of the development projects included in the plan of the ministry to modernize the water network. The project is aimed at increasing water storage capacity by 130 million imperial gallons and pumping capacity by 220 million imperial gallons per day, ensuring a consistent water supply for residential areas, particularly during the summer months when water consumption is high.
