Doctor Released on Bail in Sick Leave Forgery Case

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 6: The Criminal Court has ordered the release of a doctor on bail of KD 500 after he was detained in the Central Prison on charges of forging a sick leave for a Kuwaiti woman. When questioned at the court, he denied the charges of forgery or of having any knowledge of the Kuwaiti woman. He explained “I am a doctor in a clinic where we work on a shift basis from time to time. This means I am not fixed in a specific clinic. A case has been filed against me for the first time in my life.”
