KUWAIT CITY, May 28: The Criminal Section in the Court of Appeals postponed until Thursday the hearing of the case of the murderer of a citizen – Farah Akbar – who was sentenced to death by hanging by the Court of First Instance, in order to summon the doctor who attended to the victim while she was in the recovery room, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

In the previous session, the defendant appeared in court along with his lawyer – Attorney Abdul Mohsen Al-Qattan. During the session, a general practitioner assigned at Adan Hospital took the witness stand. The doctor confirmed that the victim died at the hospital as the resuscitation process failed, adding that she was taken to the recovery room.
