Diwaniya Shooters clinch One India Soccer championship

The Diwaniya Shooters won the One India Soccer championship in an exciting final beating Kuwait Kerala Stars Team.

The Tournament was organized by One-India Association at the Dai’ya Shaheed Football Stadium. The trophy was handed over to the winners by United Indian School Manager, Adv John P. Thomas and cash awards to the Champions.

Nithin Menon, Manager of Badar Al Sama Medical Center, distributed the prizes to the runners-up, Kuwait Kerala Stars.

Waseem Bariath won the player of the tournament award for his outstanding performance and Shijel walked away with the best goalkeeper award.

Mavelikkara Association President Zakeer Puthenpalathu, One India Association Secretary Bibin Chacko, Eldo Abraham and Saju Stephen delivered speeches at the closing ceremony chaired by the One India Association convener Vijayan Innasya.
