Dispute Turns Violent as Kuwaiti Citizen and Iraqi Expat Stab Each Other in Salmiya

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 17 : A previous dispute between a Kuwaiti citizen and an Iraqi expatriate born in 1994 escalated into a knife fight in a dirt lot in Salmiya, leaving both men with cuts to their heads and other parts of their bodies.

According to a security source, the two men had agreed to meet at the location to resolve their differences. However, the discussion quickly deteriorated into a heated argument, followed by a physical altercation and an exchange of blows.

The confrontation escalated further when knives were used, resulting in injuries to both men.

The source said the meeting, which was intended to settle the dispute, ended in a mutual assault involving bladed weapons.

A case has been registered in connection with the incident. The competent authorities are completing the necessary legal procedures and investigations to establish the circumstances of the confrontation and determine the responsibility of each party.
