LOS ANGELES, Feb 13, (Agencies): Disney on Ice performer, Anastasia Olson, 31, renowned for her portrayal of Princess Belle in Beauty and the Beast, finds herself in “serious condition” after a mishap during a Minnesota performance, confirmed officials.

The incident occurred during the 11 am show at Target Center in Minneapolis on Saturday. Olson, who was executing a lift in a pair skating routine, suffered an injury that necessitated her immediate hospitalization, as detailed by a spokesperson from Feld Entertainment, Disney on Ice’s parent company.

Hennepin County Medical Center officials reported Olson’s serious condition as of Monday afternoon, shedding light on the severity of the situation. Despite the unfortunate turn of events, the performance continued according to the schedule.

An audience member, Beka, recounted the incident, stating, “This happened about 40 minutes into the show. They were doing a lift, and it appeared shaky, resulting in her fall. I am incredibly grateful for the remaining staff and performers who persevered, ensuring the enchantment for the kids. I understand it must have been challenging.”

Another witness took to social media, sharing, “Belle fell during a lift at Disney on Ice Minneapolis. The beast stumbled into the side during a lift and dropped Belle on the ice. She immediately started seizing and was carried out on a stretcher.”
