Direct flights from London to commence

KUWAIT CITY, May 13: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation has issued approval for Kuwait Airways and Jazeera Airways to start operating direct flights to UK, London from May 22nd with 3 flights per week. The sources stated that the British Airways would also request to operate direct flight to Kuwait as well in coming days. Kuwait has no objection for British Airways flights operating to and from Kuwait.
Jazeera Airways had requested to operate summer flights to Bosnia and Uzbekistan with two flights per week as of the end of this month. The DGCA approved the request of the Bosnian Airlines Company (Fly Bosnia) to operate summer flights to Kuwait from this May and will begin its operation in the last week of this month.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation will increase the number of incoming passengers to Kuwait from 35 passengers at the moment, reports Al Anba. From May 22nd 5,000 passengers per day are expected to arrive. The number will be decided after Eid Al Fitr holidays as per the operation tables of Kuwait Airways and Jazeera Airways.
