Direct employment of doctors born to Kuwaiti mothers

KUWAIT, April 26: Minister of Health Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi, issued Wednesday a decree stipulating direct employment of doctors born to Kuwaiti mothers. The first article of the announcement specified that the doctor, in possession of a bachelors degree in medicine and surgery must first complete the first year successfully before becoming fully employed, detailed a ministry-issued statement.

Similarly, the second article instructed that to be appointed non-Kuwaiti resident dentist must first have a dentistry degree and become registrar after a successful year in the job. As for the third article, it concerns financial compensations and privileges. (KUNA)
