KUWAIT CITY, Aug 22: The Public Authority for Civil Information confirmed that “My Identity” application for digital civil card of PACI which is approved for all government agencies on Friday was suspended for new registration due to periodic maintenance which the authority carries out for all its systems for security reasons and the data was not compromised.
The suspension was only for new subscription, as the system was working of previous subscribers which have exceeded 500,000 (Citizens & Expats)
The authorities called to subscribe for digital civil ID which is allowed to conduct transactions in all government agencies and it eliminates the need for carrying a civil ID. It also makes it easier for visitors to finish their transactions in the absence of a civil card with them, as the application works on all mobile phones.
