DGCA Announces Successful Execution of Kuwait’s Hajj Departure Plan

KUWAIT CITY, May 23: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) announced on Saturday the successful implementation of the Hajj operational plan, confirming that all flights carrying pilgrims from Kuwait to Saudi Arabia for the Hajj season departed smoothly and without disruption.

In a statement, the DGCA said the travel procedures were completed in line with the approved operational framework, ensuring an organized flow of pilgrims to the holy sites. It credited the success to close coordination with the Ministries of Interior and Islamic Affairs, the General Administration of Customs, Kuwaiti Hajj campaigns, and airport ground service providers.

The authority emphasized that the joint efforts of all concerned agencies contributed to facilitating services and ensuring a seamless departure process for pilgrims.

The DGCA further announced that return flights for Kuwaiti pilgrims from Makkah will begin on May 30 and continue until May 31, in accordance with the approved schedule. It added that the return operations will also be carried out in coordination with Saudi authorities and Kuwaiti Hajj campaigns to ensure smooth travel procedures and efficient passenger movement.
