KUWAIT CITY, July 14: After a marathon investigation session, the Public Prosecution decided, yesterday, to continue the detention of Major-General Sheikh Mazen Al-Jarrah in the case of the Bangladeshi MP – who is also known as ‘Pablo’ and is a Member of Parliament in Bangladesh and allegedly owns a cleaning company in partnership with a Kuwaiti – and the director of a travel bureau, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
A security source confirmed to the daily that the Prosecution confronted Al-Jarrah with the testimony given by the director of the travel agency and money transfer business between them.
However, Al-Jarrah continued to deny the charges of bribe and money laundering. The source pointed out, the Prosecution continues to investigate and follow the financial transfers and listen to the testimony of the accused.
