KUWAIT CITY, Jun 11: The Public Prosecution decided to continue the detention of the Bangladeshi Member of Parliament accused of human trafficking and money laundering until Sunday to complete the investigation with him after testimony of 11 expatriates were heard who were brought from Bangladesh in exchange for financial sums.

The Public Prosecution also ordered detention of another Bangladeshi whose name was mentioned in the investigations with the 11 witnesses whose prosecution heard their statements and stated that he works with the Bangladeshi MP and is aware of the things he did and was receiving orders from him. He sometimes received the money in exchange for a visa to bring in menial workers from Bangladesh and renew their residency.
